Final Task 2014

The Final Task (2014 for 2013B) is the Article Review.

 The purpose of these assignments is to familiarize you with refereed journals devoted to
Educational Technology research. This assignment also assist in developing your
skills to critically review what you have read and making connections with material you
have learned in class.


 The article that you have to look for, read, and review is in the: 

 "Educational Technology Research and Development" Journal

 The final test will also be based on this article (and the Journal, for sure).

 "An investigation of middle school science teachers and students use of technology inside and outside of classrooms: considering whether digital natives are more technology savvy than their teachers"

Storyboard for DSt

For some, storyboarding may seem like a hassle, or a tedious extra step in the process  of digital storytelling.   This is not true.   Storyboarding is a valuable step in digital  storytelling.  It allows the user to organize images, text, motion, interviews, and music  before they begin making their digital story.  It allows the user to visualize how the story  will be put together and what holes exist so that they can be filled.   Storyboarding also  inspires new ideas for the user’s digital story because the user sees all of the pieces of  the story laid out in front of them.
